Sherry grew up in Northern Ontario, Canada, where a close relationship with nature shaped her early understanding of resilience, rhythm, and reflection. Her path into healing work began with her own lived experience; navigating trauma, abuse, and addiction. Committing to long-term personal growth rather than quick solutions.

For over two decades, Sherry has dedicated herself to personal development and formal study. She earned diplomas as a Holistic Practitioner and Life Coach and completed the Spiritual Psychotherapy program at Transformational Arts College in Toronto, Canada.

Since 2018, Sherry has worked closely with Iboga within the traditional Missoko Bwiti lineage. Initiated in 2018, she completed Psycho-Spiritual Providership training in 2019 and Detox Providership training in 2020, receiving permission within the lineage to facilitate. During her first three years holding retreat space, she worked closely with an experienced mentor, refining her understanding of safety, structure, and ceremonial responsibility.

She spent over six months in Africa immersing herself in the tradition and later contributed to the opening of a retreat center in Mexico.

Today, Sherry facilitates iboga retreats in the Kootenays of British Columbia, Canada. Her work is structured and intentional, emphasizing preparation, medical screening, and integration support. Ceremony is approached with steadiness and respect for both the tradition and the individual.

Alongside retreat facilitation, Sherry maintains a private practice through healyou.ca, offering integration support and personal development guidance for those seeking ongoing work.

Sherry believes transformation is not about becoming someone new, but about remembering who you are beneath the patterns and conditioning of the past. She meets each person with honesty, discernment, and grounded care.
